I have seen a few herons around here, but I have not seen Laura Erickson in a couple weeks. I guess herons are much more common than Laura Ericksons.
A little bird told me that Laura Erickson has been so swamped at work and finishing up a book that she hasn't been able to think, much less post anything lately. The mass of men and women lead lives of quiet desperation. Except for dealing with herons, we frogs apparently lead much more satisfying lives.

Laura, herons on our little lake continue to put the Green frogs in jeopardy. However Bullfrogs not heard here.
Concerns are relieved about your absence. While we miss your postings,work load is understandable. Take heart, your accomplishments will squash the desperation.
